I so love this episode! Everything about it is enjoyable. Love the fight in the bar...how Scotty keeps holding Chekov back from throwing a punch until the Klingon talks about how the Enterprise should be a garbage scow~

The scene when Kirk is questioning all the men just kills me. How he thinks the fight was in his honor.... only to find out it wasn't!

And of course the famous scene with the tribbles falling out of the storage bin. (Storage bin? Storage bin?)

And the ending...... i just love this one.

I love Trouble with tribbles one of my favorite StarTrek shows I just watched it on dvd .The comedy in this show is well acted and is one of the things I like best is the Scene with Scotty and Checkov in the bar with the Klingons.I also like when Kirk unlocksthe door to where the wheat is stored and the Tribbles fall down on him. I love that ds9 scene where Sisko and Dax dump tribbles down on Captain Kirk.The whole show is great. I also like Trials and Tribbleations the ds9 show from Season 4.

And would't the Klingons decsend on DS9 knowing a viable tribble "infiltration" had occured?

Trouble with Tribbles is my favourite Trek comedy episode ever, the 2nd and 3rd being DS9's 'Trials and Tribbleations' and the main plot from 'In the Cards'.

"The Trouble with Tribbles" is my favourite episode of the original Star Trek and the DS9 tribute is my favourite of that series. I just wish Cyrano Jones wasn't so annoying. His voice irritates the hell out of me. If not for his gratingly over-the-top performance, the episode would have been perfect, but the episode was still awesome in spite of it. I love a lot of those serious episodes like "Balance of Terror" and "City on the Edge..." too, but none entertain me as consistently as Tribbles. One of the most delightful 45 or so minutes of television ever.

For me, "Tribbles" is the most charming and entertaining episode of TOS. I never pass up a chance to watch it.

And the tribbles are really among the most alien aliens ever created for the Trekverse: Little furry critters that reproduce by eating and give Klingons the willies just by squealing.
