'Tron: Legacy' team mount a 'Black Hole' remake

What we REALLY need is for someone with talent to take a new look at UNIDENTIFIED FLYING ODDBALL, a Dennis Dugan classic from the late '70s that featured a pretty cool looking mini-shuttle.

As I recall, that was itself a remake, an updating of Mark Twain's A Confederate Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Indeed, its re-release title was A Spaceman in King Arthur's Court.

I think if you're going to do a remake of Twain's tale, it should be of Twain's tale, without the Disney intrusions.

Now...The Devil Rides Out ...

Do it.

The world needs a good remake of The Devil Rides Out.

The original is still fun, but it's marred by crappy special effects, and by one of the least convincing Satanic orgies ever filmed.

I'm all for that, but the question is, how will they imperil a little girl this time without pissing moralistic types off?:devil:

"Satanism and black magic is bad, m'kay" Doesn't look like a message that would piss off the moralistic types...

I'd say, that if Tron Legacy ends up being any good, it will foster any hope of a Black Hole remake being any good. Ironically enough I ordered Tron Special Edition along with Black Hole recently.

Might piss off the Satanists though.

I'm talking about how the actress that would play the little girl in this version would fare.

Bring it on. I love the original, but recognize that there's a lot of issues that a modern, fairly serious take could fix very easily. If this new Tron pulls it off, then they're the perfect people to do this.
