Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do

I've been rewatching my Enterprise dvds and i wish we'd had several more seasons of Enterprise. I wish we couldv'e seen what they planed for the Earth/Romulan war stories. and what happened with the Vulcans who were like V'Las who wanted to overthrow their Vulcan government. And what happened with Trip & T'Pol if the series had continued.

Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do

Boy Reanok, talk about on the same wavelength. Last night my husband and I were watching a TNG DVD: the ep. was "Unification" where Spock supposedly defects to Romulus.
We started discussing what had happened at the end of "Kir'shara"--- the deposed Vulcan head of High Command in with the Romulans--- and what had transpired in the centuries between those two episodes. It would have been nice to have some more Enterprise eps to tie that situation in with what Vulcan became in TOS time (and how it effected Spock's personal philosophy) and then on to what was going on in "Unification".

ETA: sorry to stray off topic.

Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do

I was checking for updated news about Startrek books and saw that the Myriad univerese books are going to be over 500 pages long for both books and that the Enterprise novel Kobayashi is going to be 480 pages long. I'm glad we're going to have longer length stories in all these books.

But Myriad Universe is alternate reality and in effect cements nothing to the Trip/T'Pol relationship and what became of them. personally it doesn't sound very interesting to me, so I doubt I will even buy it.

Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do

Hoshi's sis I can understand why you might not be interested in the Myriad books. I hope someday soon we'll be able to have more Enterprise novels in the future and we'll find out what happens with Trip & T'Pol's relationship too.

Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do

Reanok was interested in seeing the full-size version of an avatar I entered in this week's contest...

And here is the full screencap.

Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do

Oh dear this fell off the front page while watching some of the first season episodes I think it would be interesting if pocket books did some standalone Enterprise novels that take place during the different seasons.I'd like to have seen more stories dealing with the Vulcan & Andorians and space exploaation. Also a book dealing with T'Pol's past before she joined Enterprise.More Trip & T'Pol too of course. i really like Missannthropic's new fix the finale fix story.using elements TGTMD and her unique spin on the story was a great idea and loved thta Tnt live happily ever after.;):bolian:

Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do

As far as T'Pol, there was Surak's Soul which dealt with the back story of "The Seventh." Malcolm got his own book in season one but it blew HARD (ilu Dave Stern, I swear it...just the later novels kthx)

I agree though, I wish we had more ENT novels--it was like getting more episodes! :)

Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do

Pensive I agree with you Surak's soul was okay but not anything special. The expanse was better written and I like How T'Pol was portrayed in that book and her changing feelings towards Trip at the end of the book.

Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do

Removes cloak after coming here all the way from lurker's ville.

Well, it's been a while since the last time I posted here, but I have to say that this picture HR posted...

...is my favorite Trip look EVER. I'm not surprised T'Pol hit on him during S3. He looked positively yummy...

That's it.

Puts cloak back on and quietly returns to her village.

Re: Trip & T'Pol: The Good That They Do
