A Michael Question ...
OK ... so I'm going through some very serious Trip withdrawal. It's been like a whole week since I finished ENT. Oh man, I'd soooo love it if they had a "Trip Collection" dvd set like they did with Picard for TNG. Is there anyone we can lean on to make it so????
Anyways ... I'm off to the video store and I'm thinking of just jumping right into the Season 2/3 Atlantis episodes that have the Michael character.
Thing is, I watched the first couple of discs of season 1 a while back, and I gotta say I just couldn't get in to it. Does it get better or do y'all just watch for the Connor factor?

I know you feel Tauno when Enterprise ended I felt the same way. At least he's now on Stargate Atlantis and upcoming appearences on Criminal minds and 24which is great news.He's also going to be in a movie Called terminal Shock this december on the Sci-fi channel. And in a few weeks the new Enterprise Novel kobayashi Maru comes out. We'll be able to finally find out what happened to the Enterprise crew and Trip after The GoodThat Men Do left off.

I watched only the Michael episodes (though, now I need to catch up on some more it seems!). I've never been able to really get into any of the Star Gate shows... but Connor rocked as Michael!

I watched all of SG1 and I've watched all of Atlantis. I think it's one of the best sci-fi franchises ever. It's obviously just my opinion but yeah, I think they're awesome. I think the premise is great. I do believe that you kind of have to watch from the beginning. You can get the idea of what's going on, but it really helps to know what the characters have been through, etc.
I think Michael is one of the best villains on either of the Stargates though. He's more than just a one-sided villain. You can't help but to somewhat feel sorry for him and at the same time you can't help but to want them to kill him. It's easy to see where he's coming from with all his rage and at the same time you think, "why can't he just see that they were trying to do good with what they did to him?"

Connor does a wonderful job creating Michael; I liked the third season when the wraith didn't want him around he ended up helping to save Ronan and McKay and helped Sheppard. And then again the Atlantis crew didn't trust him so they made him human and just made him even more angrier. I like how big a threat he is to them and how he always stays a step ahead of them.

I mean, I guess you could argue that they were right not to trust him but on the other hand, he's kind of like Frankenstein's monster; they made him what he is and then freaked out when they couldn't control him. I'm always excited when I see his name in the opening credits because I know it'll be a fun episode.

Thank goodness second half of S5 is starting up early so we will be able to see Prodigal sooner then we would have! I always get excited to see actors I like in new stuff 
And anyone know about the story someone brought up at one of the many tucker sites I visit about the Blue Undies story that I think Dom told on stage at one of the cons about Connor please tell it dying to know!
