This week's TV Guide had a sci-fi roundup feature and here's what they had to say:

Bloody battles, romance and global warming heat up Season 4. First off, for those who've wondered whether SG-1's Teal'c (Chris Judge) or Atlantis' Ronon (Jason Momoa) would win a fight, the stoic alien stops by for a visit. "We essentially set up a sparring match between them," explains executive producer Joe Mallozzi, "though they'll have to put their animosity aside to take down some Wraith." Paul McGillion's popular Dr. Beckett is resurrected from the dead in a two-parter, while vengeful Wraith Michael (Connor Trinneer) wreaks havoc with his Wraith-human hybrid experiments.) And we'll finally peek into the past of Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) when his ex-wife (Kari Wuhrer) shows up. But all this could change if the "It's a Wonderful Life" cliff-hanger finale holds true. Sheppard winds up 10,000 years in the future and finds both a solar-blasted Earth and a hologram of Dr. McKay (David Hewlett) which lets him know how life changed after he went missing on a mission.

Oh sweet Jesus. Is there some shortage of Canadian actors, that they couldn't come up with someone better than THAT?? Rarely have I disliked an actress more than her.

Still, if Connor is on, I'll put up with just about anything.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the Mrs. Shep episode isn't part of the Michael episodes. It was just part of a collection of blurbs about the rest of SGA's season 4.

So I guess you'll be able to skip Mrs. Shep altogether. Won't that be nice?

I don't think it is either. I'm a bit mixed about it since I always liked Kuri Whether in Sliders.

As if Teyla didn't have enough on her plate, there is still the Wraith known as Michael lurking in tghe shadows. usually dealing with the alien life suckers is pretty clear cut yet she became conflictged when the Atlantis scientiss used Michael as a guinea pig tgo tgest their retgrovirus on him. "Initially Teyla was the only person against this experiment we were doing and I think it is because she saw the humanity that existed in Michael," explains Luttrell. "When he turned into a human, it was Teyla who had the greatest connection with him at that point. because of that history, hopefully they have an interesting relationship with each other. Obviously he's gone to the dark side, back to his true nature, but I always have fun with Teyla and michael because there are so many shades going on there. On the one hand, he is a Wraith. maybe not as much as the others, but on the other hand, she knows what was done to him. "He does come back this season and figures quite strongly," adds Luttrell. "Without giving too much away, he is very involved. I had a similar moment with Connor Trinneer at the end of my season. He determined that part of his direction when dealing with Teyla was perhaps he could use her as an ally. In his mind, he thought maybe Teyla might joing him, that she might become his queen. i have so much fun with that."

Quite an interesting development if this storyline turns out. What do you guys think?

I'm losing patience with SG:A fast. I haven't liked it much at all this season so far. I only watch it because Hubby does, and he wants us to watch it together.

But having Connor on really makes it worth my while to keep up with the series, so I'll understand what's going on when he finally shows up.

Well, one of the things I've considered is that Michael tapped his own DNA to impregnate her and when the baby comes, he's planning to take it (and I wonder if it really is a boy... be so much more interesting if Michael was trying to produce a wraith princess... seeing how powerful the queens are, he would naturally want a Daddy's Little Girl to help him protect himself. )

That news about Micheal is really interesting it does make you wonder why he was so fascinated with Teyla.I know she was nice to him and treated him as a person instead of a guinea pig Shepard and Weir saw him as a tool to spred the virus to make the Wraith human. Ronin didn't trust him.After turning him into a human again and erasing his memory he has a major grudge against them.And what will happen with those creepy mutant creatures that he created when he appears again in The Kindred.

Unfortunately, SciFi didn't air ENT that night (it was a Ghost Hunters marathon or something like that). But I recently converted a die-hard VOY fanboy to our camp, so he and I are watching the regular Monday marathons together
