Yeah that sounds like Duane Martin in Scream 2.

The first movie I ever saw where the black guy lives is Night of the Demons. When shit went down, I remember him running away scared, reappearing for the finale of the movie because he was hiding and he and the pristine blonde survived the night.

Do you remember Leviathan? I remember Ernie Hudson making it off the sub with the leads and cheering...then the monster appeared on the surface and he pulled a "Go on wihtout me!"

^^^Wasn't there that one episode where there was a black security officer and a cute little female yeoman, and it was the yeoman who bit it? I can honestly say that on my first viewing I didn't see that coming!

The episode was TOS's "By Any Other Name". The "cute little female yeoman" was Julie Cobb who was married to James Cromwell (Cochrane II) for a number of years.
