Tribble cameo

JJ said that a tribble appears in the film and that you have to look for it.

I HEARD it in the scene with Scotty in his office on the planet. But I couldn't find it. Heard it trilling

In another thread, someone said it was in a cage. I heard it, but didn't see it. Knowing where it is now though I'll look for it when I go to see it again tomorrow.

I heard a while back that there was gonna be a cameo appearance by a Tribble in this. However, I did not see a Tribble at all. Did anyone else here see one?

Yup, Caught it on my second showing, when you first see Scotty with his feet up on the desk, theres a Tribble in a Cage center on the screen.

I missed it but I was told here it is in Scotty's lab on Delta Vega in a cage.

I'll look for it tomorrow when I see the movie again.

I didn't see it the first time, but really kept an eye out for it. Both saw it and heard it at the same time.

Yeah, it's doing the tribble purr clear as day.

You might've missed it in a cage because the thing it's in doesn't look like a 'cage' in the normal sense. It's not box-shaped or anything IIRC.

I heard it and saw the cage, but the camera just went by the desk too quick for me. I still didn't see it even on my second viewing.

Was it a neutered tribble or they just didn't have enough real food for it?
