Trek's Most Embarassing Moments

DS9's Chrysalis, when Sarina comes out of her veggie state and her and the other Augments sing the Do Re Mi song. I'm pretty sure my face actually turned red with embarrassment for the show. I'm sure plenty of people liked it, but I almost could not stand to make it to the end of that scene (of course now, it gets the old FF).
I had blocked that out for a while. Thanks for drudging that up, again. My wife made comments when that was on about how stupid that was.

^ Oh boy, if I had to choose the most unwatchable scene in all of Star Trek, I would most probably go for that one. For me, it goes beyond being cringeworthy and unbearable to watch. It's that bad, and one of the few scenes I actually fast forward.

It makes episodes like The Way To Eden and Archer's gazelle speeches acceptable viewing, IMO.

"Row, row, row the boat, gently down the stream . . . ."

Thank god that wasn't the last scene of the last TOS movie!
Still slighty beats Picard and the children singing "Brother John" as they climb through the turbo-lift shaft.

Any bit of Voyager, where Janeway speaks, in that gravelly, lecturing, Hepburn/infant school headmistress type of voice.

In other words, all of Voyager!

Beverlump's dancing.

Since Gates McFadden is also a choreographer, I did not think that was particularly embarassing.

TOS: The "Man-In-Suit" Gorn. The high def blinking didn't help.
TNG: Men in skirts, Troi's eastern european accent
DS9: Quark in a dress, indeed. In fact any episode featuring the Grand Nagus or Moogie.
VOY: Whenever the Doctor of Seven sang.
ENT: Season 2 in its entirety.

Tom Paris: "Faster than light, no left or right."

Could have been a big continuity violation, thankfully the four or five hundred episodes that proceeded that statement never showed a starship making a turn at warp speed.

I'm pretty sure TNG's The Wounded shows a starship making a right turn while at warp.

Oh, and the DS9 MU episodes. Its only OK to show homosexuality on Star Trek if its done in the context of an "evil" mirror universe?

Say wha-...huh? :wtf::wtf::wtf:

He's right, ya know. The only time there was even a hint of same-gender anything, it was in the MU. And don't give me any of that "well Dax kissed a girl" nonsense .. Jadzia didn't, it was her slug, not the host.

Yeahhhhhh, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree.

Pretty much the entire third season of TOS. With special mention to Spock jamming with space hippie musicians in "The Way to Eden," Kirk forced to play horsie in "Plato's Stepchildren," and Melvin Belli in a muumuu in "And the Children Shall Lead."

Hoshi Sato coming out of that hatch and loosing her shirt in the hatch and having to cover up?
Embarrassing for the character. Not for those of us watching!

While not as awesome (ahem) as Troi flying through space or Janeway and Paris lizards, I can't believe no one has mentioned Kirk's patented butt move against that Andorian....
