Just wanted to tell everyone about my latest website: Trekempire.com

I created this site three weeks ago. It is a Star Trek themed site but also has general discussion and some fun sections as well. The site is themed after the Mirror Universe as first seen in original Star Trek episode, 'Mirror, Mirror' and later in DS9 and Enterprise.

I wanted to create a more adult and oriented forum so I discourage anyone under 13 from joining. Using the Mirror Universe seemed like a good fit for a more edgy Star Trek site and makes it a a little unique in that regard. Like Trekbbs I am using Vbulletin forum software, but a more newer version.

All I can ask is you check it out and give me your feedback.

Not to many yet, got a about 30 members since opening last week. It's a work in progress, the membership will eventually shape the site in tone and volume. I have gotten some great feedback though, so i'm happy there. I have created a lot of fan sites over the years and they can usually take quite a few months to start to establish themselves.The key is to not just make them another Vanilla site they need to have a focus so people are interesting in joining.

You mean Message Board/Forum not a site. A site is for content not communication like a forum or social networking sites is.

In fact, Tom I suggest adding a site and maybe doing daily articles as well.

Yes, i have website portion in my head, i just wanted to build up the membership a little so i can get some help and interest.
