TrekBBS Holiday Audio Greeting - Submissions

So much of a problem!

First I didn't know where I hid my 'Madonna-phones' and then I couldn't find a way to actually record my voice!

Somehow I probably didn't ever record my own voice since I acquired this new computer... but eventually it worked!

I absolutely hate my voice. :scream:

I don't like mine either. I sound like a 45 rpm single being played at 33, or a Goa'uld with a head cold. So I don't want anyone here hearing what I sound like (unless they meet me in person).

Ditto. But I am at the opposite end of the spectrum. I think I sound like the long lost brother to Alvin, Simon and Theodore. And that being said, I made a greeting anyway. My need to wish everyone a happy holiday outweighed my feelings about my voice. :bolian:

Actually, I can do a fairly decent C.W. McCall impression. So if there's a TrekBBS version of "Convoy", I'm your man.

Failing that, there's always this... ;)

Same here, that's why I started complaining about my voice. I heard it when checking the playback before submitting it. :rommie:

I once wrote (for myself, never published) a Star Trek version of Convoy back in another life. I don't know where it went...

But you guys don't know what you sound like to others. I don't like the sound of my own voice, either, but I get at least one person a day telling me I should be in Radio.

Of course, it could be sarcasm....

No, I asked one of my friends that day and she agreed with me, my voice sounds very stereotypically gay. And I mean, I suppose it shouldn't be a problem cause I am gay, but still... I'd like a normal sounding voice.
