TrekBBS Exposed?

Googling TrekBBS, I came across this curiousity:

It's an archive of very old (2002 - 2003) threads, including all the lounges and even the mods' Briefing Room.

You might have to highlight to read the posts, it appears white-on-white for me.

What's all this old stuff doing there?

No, she wasn't really that bad.

But I do remember many warnings about being careful of what you said in the Briefing Room, because it was going to be hacked and leaked.

I can't be bothered to look at all of that, but hopefully I didn't embarrass myself too much.

A bunch of disgruntled people on this board created their own offshoot of TrekBBS called Troll Kingdom. They hacked into the board and released a whole bunch of private threads.

Vash is PKTrekGirl now, and JKTim is Timby. They're both still around.

I don't know why I'm still going through it but it appeared to be hacked in October of 2002. There were about 4 messages in a row all in caps. The first one was from Troll Kingdom.

I was on staff at the time, yes. I don't remember anything about a staff member leaking these, but I am old and busted and smoke a lot of pot, so...
