Trek XI Teaser Poster

And even though this isn’t official, it is part of something larger that you should be seeing more of hopefully within the next few days.

good to hear.

And since I failed to mention so early, me likey what I see. Your FJ Connie is a masterpiece.

^^ That's NOT my FJ Connie. What you're looking at in that image is a brand new model that has never been seen before.

Arlo may have meant the Franz Joseph ship you modeled several years ago, the one I'm sure many 3D fans have saved to their systems (as I have done).

Sincerely,

Bill

an image you made?

not to be crud, but its too cgi looking for an offical poster. it needs more "somthing".

I’m sure he did, but it also sounded like he was assuming that the ship in the teaser poster in this thread was also my FJ Connie, which it isn’t.

Complement appreciated either way.

I know..I was referring to the old Franz Joseph Connie you made a few years ago. Sorry if I confused.

My guess: this is the Enterprise we'll be seeing, and Vektor somehow got his hands on it for a render...?

Can't say too much about where this came from right now. Consider it a sneak peak of something you'll see more of in another few days. ;)

Damit and I wasted a smoke too! I have to see more of this ship! It looks outstanding! If only JJ is smart enough to do something close to this beauty, oh well!

^ She looks like she has warp engines that were influenced by that april fools Enterprise for trek XI that first appeared on trekmovie.com! Please show us more pics Vektor!

If memory serves, that image has been someone's icon for some time. (Professor Moriarty's?) Though, he doesn't seem to be using it at the moment. Also, his web site/server seems to be down...

No, that is Vektor's model, and she's a beaut! (The avatars I've been using are my own models and are sneak peeks of my "Doomsday Machine" project. And yes, my personal website is down temporarily... should be back online next week.)

Come on, Vektor! Stop teasing us and show your cards!

Great to hear!

Agreed.

I think this is a fan job. The title and date lines are crooked and the gradient on "Star Trek" is a bit sloppy. If this were real it would have gone through revisions to catch these little flaws.

That said, I think it is a great poster, but being a graphic designer by profession I tend to see the mistake pretty easily.

oops, ignore my last post, I didn't see that it WASN'T Official. I guess that is what I get for skimming

Wow, arrogant much?

did it occur to you that Vektor and many other people in here are graphic designers too?
