Trek wins best film award

Is this supposed to be an "all time" poll of some kind? Otherwise, what's a 2008 film doing up against a 2009?

Well, it looks like the award eligibility cutoff date is sometime in June or July, so that's why last July is included in this year's awards.

Man, the Dark Knight just can't win, can it?

I like XI and I'm quite happy that it won, but I still think the Dark Knight is the superior movie. Regardless, congrats XI!

It's an annual award and it covers the previous 12 months, and since the vote starts in June, these nominations covered everything from May or June 2008 to May or June 2009.

I voted for Star Trek in every category it was nominated in, except for Best Movie - I voted The Dark Knight in that. But none of my picks won (Lost, BSG actors...)
