Trek movie talk on "The Americans"

Anybody else catch this bit on the "The Americans" last night?

It's 1982 and a teenage boy is wondering whether a certain upcoming movie is any good. He's not optimistic, because the first one was "terrible" and "nothing like the show," but this new one has Khan so maybe it will be better . . ..

The words "Star Trek" are never spoken, but I think we all know what's being referenced.

I'm surprised he wasn't gushing about 'the guy who played han solo and indy is in a new sci fi flick with killer robots & flying cars.'

Actually there was a lot to gush about in summer 82, even more than 89. Shoot, I even liked FIREFOX ... the first time I saw it, anyway.
