Re: Trek Lit Reminders
After several questions raised by various posters, both SlaveOfSeven and myself feel we need to clarify the last reminder.
Yes, all current authors & editors here,
regardless of how many works they have published,- from one short story to however many hundred books KRAD now has published

can talk about any other of their non-trek works as an on-topic subject (so anything from their latest blockbuster to a newspaper article)

We are nice, tight community here, and we always want to celebrate in the works of our friends.
In terms of non-posting authors & editors, we feel it should be only fair if we limit on-topic non-trek literature conversations to the prolific trek authors (ie, the Diane Carey's, Christie Golden's or Peter David's of this world et cetera), not because we have anything against the guy who wrote one TNG book 12 years ago, but because there needs to be a limit and we don't have a free for all about non-trek works of Keith Sharee or V.E. Mitchell etc.
Plus any non-trek works by one-off authors, whould likely find a bigger market in the SF&F or Misc forums (depending on the genre of the book).
General threads are still okay (ie "Trek Authors: Where are they now?").
In all fairness, we never expected alot of threads about V.E. Mitchell's book "Pool Party Panic" based on the series "The Secret World of Alex Mack" et al to begin with, but we have been asked to clarify this point by several posters, so I hope this is a proper clarification.
We are not going to list a yes or no of non-posting trek authors, that is silly, and we think you should trust in yourselves, your gut feeling should tell you what forum they topic should be posted in.
If anybody has questions, feel free to PM either SlaveofSeven or myself. Or open a thread in MA if you think it warrents a public discussion.
