Trek Laughfest!!!

Comedy and Star Trek. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. What are, in your opinion, the five funniest laugh outloud moments in Star Trek(s) history. Could be a scene, or a moment, or whatever. From a movie, an animated episode, or a TV episode....

here are my humble picks...in no particular order

1. Kirk wondering where Spock is, finally sees his Vulcan friend in the whale tank in VOYAGER HOME. Shatner hams it up just perfectly.

2. When Kirk tries to hug Spock on the bridge of the Bird of Prey in Star Trek V and Spock says "Please captain; not in front of the klingons"

3. In the Wrath of Khan when Spock asks Savik to pilot the ship out of space dock, and the look on Kirk's face when McCoy asks if he wants a tranquilizer

4. When Kirk/McCoy are at the Klingon prison planet in TUC. They're in their bunks and then McCoy watches the scene play out between Kirk and Iman, and then she kisses him..and leaves. And McCoy's great dead pan delivery "What is it with you anyway.."...loved it.

5. And yes, a non Kirk entry! When Geordi is playing his little guitar in "QPID" and Worf walks over and smashes it. Perfect!

So what are you Star Trek Laughfest moments...

Great choices. :) If I may add to your list, I nominate the Captain Picard Day scene with Riker imitating Picard with that doll. The look on Picard's face is priceless.

Scotty's "Up your shaft" in STIII is another one of my favourites.

The entire briefing room scene from VOY's "Bride of Chaotica" was hilarious:

JANEWAY: Let me get this straight. Trans-dimensional aliens have mistaken your Captain Proton simulation for reality.
PARIS: Yes, ma'am.
JANEWAY: And now an armed conflict has broken out between these aliens and Chaotica's holographic army.
PARIS: Yes, ma'am. His Army of Evil.

(snip)

CHAKOTAY: How do you propose to defeat Chaotica?
PARIS: Well, he's been attacking the aliens with his Death Ray.
TUVOK: It's a shame we don't have one.

The whole scene is funny, and the delivery by the actors just makes it. I laugh every time.

ETA: Thought of another one!

"Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy"

EMH: (singing) Tuvok, I understand, You are a Vulcan man.
You have just gone without For seven years about.
Paris, please find a way, To load a hypospray.
I will give you the sign. Just aim for his behind.
Hormones are raging, Synapses blazing,
It's all so very illogical.
Illogical. Illogical.
ALL: Bravo! Bravo!

I love the 'Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy' one kes7

I would have to nominate the scene between Bashir and O'Brien in 'Hippocratic Oath' when O'Brien says he wishes Keiko was 'More like a man'

Bashir's expressions and fast eye movements when he says: 'So... you wish Keiko... was a man' always manages to cause a chuckle

Riker telling Worf he looks good in a dress, Worf's face is priceless.

Bashir: I can't wait to see your face when we get back to Deep Space Nine and you realize I never existed!

Sisko punching Q with no hesitation whatsoever.

The Lifeforms Song

Oh, I had forgotten about the scene in Hippocratic Oath! That was funny. So was their scene in Explorers:

O'BRIEN: I hated you when we first met.
BASHIR: I remember.
O'BRIEN: But now.
BASHIR: But now?
O'BRIEN: Well, now I don't.
BASHIR: That means a lot to me, Chief. It really does.
O'BRIEN: Really. Now that is from the heart. I really do (awkward pause) not hate you anymore.
