Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

It turns out that this is the 50th anniversary of the night that Madlyn Rhue shot Paul Carr:

She only winged him, but McGarrett finished him off a few seconds later. And just for kicks, his buddy's name is Lew Kelso.

(Hawaii Five-O, "The Payoff," Dec. 9, 1970)

Wanted: Dead or Alive, "The Rawhide Breed" had a couple of familiar names: written by Trek writer Sam Peeples, and featured Charles Cooper who played Korrd in Star Trek V.

I was flipping through the radio stations on the way to the grocery store this afternoon and as I was passing the classical music station the announcer said that the upcoming song was featured in the episode 'The Squire of Gothos' where Uhura plays the harpsicord for Trelene. He then proceeded to play 'Roses from the South' by Johann Strauss II. The announcer must have been a TOS fan.

Not sure it this has been mentioned, but Leslie Parrish (Lt. Palamas in "Who Mourns for Adonais") was Laurence Harvey's girlfriend in that grand-daddy of all conspiracy movies: The Manchurian Candidate. Reggie Nalder, ("Journey to Babel") shows up as one of the Commie plotters.

Laurel Goodwin as the daughter of Lon Chaney Jr. (of 1940s Universal Wolf Man fame) in the 1964 Western drama Stage to Thunder Rock.

James Gregory, Ed Peck, and Joseph Mell are all in That Girl, "An Uncle Herbert for All Seasons" (Dec. 18, 1970). Gregory is playing a recurring role in the show's final season as Don Hollinger's publisher...whose name happens to be Adams.

Lou Antonio kidnaps Paris, thinking that he's the hotel magnate he's been posing as for an assignment:

Mission: Impossible, "The Hostage" (Dec. 19, 1970)

Also airing the same night: Adam-12, "Log 96: Pilgrimage". What sort of depraved lowlife would mug a street-corner Santa on Christmas Eve? Stanley Adams, of course!

Anybody else? I'm lookin' right at the pictures, linked from my personal webspace as usual. Even Maurice's quote shows them. It's Bill Schallert again.
Oh, forgot to mention - the ep was written by Freddie Frieberger.

Maybe a firewall issue. I can't see them on my work machine but I can on everything else.
