Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

Speaking of Hogan's Heroes, I just caught a season 6 episode "Hogan's Double Life" on YouTube that featured John Hoyt and Malachi Throne.

Tonight's Hogan's Heroes episode "One in Every Crowd" featured John "Commissioner Ferris" Crawford and Barbara Babcock.

As mentioned previously, HH is a virtual goldmine of Trek guest actors.

Jonathan Frakes showed up on Hallmark Channel's rerun of The Waltons today, must have been circa 1980. i remember catching this show years ago and noting that the young guy looked familiar, but I took awhile to pick up.

Mission : Impossible
"The Legacy"
Lots of Trek people in action here...

John "Galileo Seven" Crawford again

Rent-a-Nazi Patrick Horgan (Eneg -- "Patterns of Force")

Lee Bergere (Lincoln -- "Savage Curtain")

And, how about this one? This looks to me like Herb Solow, the boss of Desilu who got Trek and Mission on the air.

Great studio boss, but Dan consigns him to the reject pile, unworthy of a spot on the team...dun nah nah!

John Hoyt and Ian Wolfe are both in the 1953 Julius Caesar (better known for Marlon Brando, James Mason and John Gilegud).

Then again, you can usually find one or the other of those guys in just about any old movie or TV show!

I just watched a first season Spenser: For Hire (1985) featuring Cloud William as a henchmen that Spenser beats up. Looked like he was getting a little old for this kind of job.

After a long stretch of 70s stars, Mannix finally comes thru again with some TOS alumni. Season six, "Search for a Whisper" (Feb 1973)

And a 1970 Flying Nun episode Featuring Miko Mayama as a foster child that Carlos thought was MUCH younger!

Wow, seeing these pics really does take me back to 1973, especially the first one, it looks like something from a magazine ad.

Hoyt played in a lot of Ancient Roman films during the 50s and 60s: Julius Caesar, Spartacus, and Cleopatra, just to name a few.

Mannix is back in the swing. Season 6 "To Quote a Dead Man", featuring the always lovely Barbara Babcock, who remains stylish even when being groped by frequent 70s guest creep Lloyd Bochner.

I'm watching a Girl From UNCLE right now with both Michael J Pollard and Angelique Pettijohn as surfers on Hawaii. Angelique is wearin' lotsa bikinis and skimpy 60s go go outfits. W00t! But I can't seem to get the damn disk to play on my PC to get screen grabs. :(

Ah. Laptop to the rescue.

Beach blanket? Bingo!

God, I miss the 60s.

I don't miss the '60s. The oldest I got in the '60s was four, and that for only two weeks. Then it was the '70s.

I got a two-for-one special on yesterday's "Hogan's Heroes".
Barbara Babcock and Sabrina Shariff (Miramanee).
Sabrina's hot even playing a paleskinned German with black hair.

Looks like Lenny Nimoy's the suspect in the Columbo that's starting on MeTV right now. It's 1973...and he's a doctor, not a pointy-eared hobgoblin!

And our Special Guest Victim: Anne Francis!

The episode of The Rifleman in which Mark gets a whippin' by Kodos the Executioner is on MeTV right now.
