Looks like birth name is John Russo, but most of his pre-1965 screen credits are as "John Duke". The "J. Duke Russo" (sometimes "John Duke Russo") credit was used for appearances 1971 and later. For a few years in between he was "Barry" and one time "Harry".Apparently J. Duke Russo is the same guy as Barry Russo (Devil in the Dark, The Ultimate Computer).
He has one in German. The damn thing is, I just noticed that Barry Russo has no Wikipedia page.
Is this list in order of importance?Interestingly, the script for "The Cage" identifies the character as "The Keeper", even if he/she isn't actually referred as such to by name in the script's dialog itself.

Sing along!
"And my head I'd be a scratchin'

If I only had a brain."

(Mannix's brain would be a good choice)
I almost was ready to edit my comment but you beat me to it! According to the web he was shot 17 times and sustained 55 concussions during the series. Maybe Kara should have gotten his brain when he worked early on for Intertech! With all the blows to the head Mannix suffered throughout the series, his brain would be the last one I'd want placed in my head.
Okay, but we're doing TOS actors only in the TOS forum. Not sure it's as "surprising" as it is "she needed a job", but Denise Crosby is on General Hospital this week as Liz Webber's estranged and never before seen mother.
It's only a shame Richard Dean Anderson couldn't be lured back as Jeff Webber.
