Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

Theo Marceuse (Korob) as Lescaux on Devil's Island:

Funny thing about this guy. For so long, I'd watch this episode, and I kept thinking I knew him from something else, but couldn't place what it was. Then it recently dawned on me what it was, was his voice...it has a similar sound to Gavin Macleod's!

Until Marcuse's sudden passing, Marcuse (<- proper spelling!) and McLeod were TV's 'go to' guys for evil/eccentric foreign baddies. Unfortunately, unlike Macleod, he never got a chance to rehabilitate his image.

Harry visits the Naked City again - a 1960 episode. They needed a slimy, crooked cheap detective, and, well, who ya gonna call?

Then there's always Kay E. Kuter. He played the Cytherian "head" from the Barclay center-of-the-galaxy episode, the name of which escapes me right now. Next Generation, granted...but here he's playing his recurring role of Newt Kiley on Green Acres. At least that's of original-series vintage! :)

^ I first noticed Kuter's name in a 60's episode of The Outer Limits. In "The Premonition", he's some guy trapped in some limbo world outside of time. The heroes are in a frozen moment of time (actually slow moving moment ala "Wink of an Eye"), and he's trying to kill them or something so he can take their place in the real world. He was rather unrecognizable though, as he was mostly seen superimposed as a negative image into scenes.

Yeah, I remember that one, Melakon. He wanted to take one of their places back in real time. It was actually pretty creepy, as he described life in timeless limbo.

Kuter certainly played goofy parts! :)

Here ya go, O Melakon: Kay Kuter in The Outer Limits.

And since you mentioned her, your girl from Home Soil. I must say she does have a nice smile! :)

Thanks, LMFAOSchwarz! Sometimes I think I should get an Outer Limits DVD collection, I only have a few of the old episodes on prerecorded tapes.

No problem, Melakon! I figured I owed you for the good chuckle I got out of your Steve Zodiac "Spock suit"!

Also, in my fatigue last night I accidentally posted what's her name in the wrong thread! Oops!

Geez, if I knew we were slipping into TNG territory, I would have mentioned seeing George Murdock in an Adam-12 episode....
