Trek fright night - Scariest StarTrek epsidoes

Frame of Mind - In my opinion, it's Star Trek's best and creepiest mind-fuck episode. Dark, claustrophobic, and utterly unnerving.
That one is just to weird for me, I don't watch it on Spike anymore for that very reason. Although I might have to try it again next time they show it, because I'm alot more into that kind of stuff now.

First ones that come to mind are Genesis from TNG and Empok Nor from DS9. Very creepy.

That sums it up best for me.

One of my favorite Braga episodes.

Oh yeah. It's still one of my favorites. Great writing!

I'll pitch forth with "Where Silence Has Lease". The whole episode has a creepy, unnerving feel. The helmsman's death freaked me out when I first watched it years ago.

I hated The Thaw! Scary!!!!!!!!!!! :scream: :scream:

100% agreed. the only thing scary about "the thaw" is the fact that some people - apparently - like that piece of embarrassing, unwatchable crap.

evil clowns?!? from the DELTA QUADRANT?!? if that doesn't represent some sort of all-time low point for the franchise, i don't know what does. total garbage.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone

On a side note although its not really a horror episode I thought Chain of Command Part II should be noted, it was a damn good episode

I'll add TNG's "Conspiracy" as the slow build up to the reveal of the parasites was pretty tense.

As mentioned, "The Adversary" as it was Trek doing Alien.

I just realized, I think "the Adversary" is the only episode of TNG, DS9, and Voy I've only seen once.

1000% agreed.

I cannot believe there are people out there that actually like this episode!

A friend and I would always make fun of this piece of shit by singing, in a mock/demented way,

"A virus, a virus, she thinks she has a virus!"

Crap.

When I was a kid, Operation: Annihilate! scared the crap out of me. Almost as bad as Daleks.

It was the screeching flying fried eggs monsters from hell!

And is Spock now blind?! Oh noes!

I am in full agreement regarding Conspiracy! I always thought, however, that The Adversary had more in common with John Carpenter's The Thing (especially the blood test).
