Trek Conventions in Europe

I was wondering if you guys know of any Star Trek conventions in Europe. I know about FedCon in Germany, but if you could give me other suggestions, I would be extremely grateful. I have never been to a convention and I think I might want to go some day. These events seem to be a fun experience.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot for replying, guys! It's good to know there are a few options closer to home. I'll be sure to check them all out. The one in the UK sounds really good, though. :techman:

The London Film and comic Con although not specifically trek often has some star trek actors / actresses, this year I believe they have Shatner and Frakes there

And Andrew Robinson ^_^

I ordered my ticket for it yesterday.... so looking forward to that later on this month!

And (similar to the London Film and Comic Con) there's the Collectormania conventions

the one in Milton Keynes has just been (went to that one myself ^_^)
There'll also be one in London:

Armin Shimerman is currently the only Trek actor going, but it's likely they'll be more.

In Italy there is the STICCON, usually around late May/early June, and the smaller REUNION, around late autumn, both organized by the largest fan club in the country. There are both very nice: the first has a bit more of emphasis on guest actors and the like, while the second is a bit more family-oriented.

Also, it's a good opportunity to visit Italy, since they are located close the beautiful city of Ravenna and the charming Republic of San Marino, and just a few hours of drive from more renowned destinations like Venice and Rome.

Thank you, everyone.
I have been seriously considering going to FedCon next year though. Has anyone been there? Is it worth the trip?

^ I've never been to FedCon, but I hear that they are great. They've been running years, too.

If you are interested in a UK con, there are a couple run by SFB - Starfleet Ball every February, and Reunion in September time. I can thoroughly recommend Starfleet Ball.

Frakes has now pulled out of the London film and comic con. A big shame. Anyhow I have tickets to Shatner's talk and will get his autograph. Not decided about Andrew Robinson yet.
