Within the next week, The Trek BBS will be moving to SSL. This means you can argue over things securely - and your data including login credentials will be encrypted end to end.
No special action should be required on your part - you'll just be switched to and will browse from https://www.trekbbs.com after the switch.
On this note this will be my last action as Trek BBS tech admin. It's weird having been involved in Trek sites for about 20 years to think I won't be involved in the community. "It's been... fun."
And let me end this message by saying that Deep Space Nine is the best Star Trek and always will be!
