Trek authors and editor on Biography Channel Trek special

The people involved did an admirable amount of research. I talked to them and exchanged emails a couple of times, and even helped them track down copies of some out-of-print reference books on TREK.

Can't wait to see the special once it shows up somewhere I can see it. (Shore Leave maybe?)
 
Location probably was an issue in terms of who was chosen. Everyone interviewed lives in or near New York or Los Angeles.
 
Oh, somehow I thought Kirsten lived somewhere more inland than that -- although now that I reflect on it, I don't know why I thought that. But I guess that explains the absence of Dayton and Kevin as well as myself.

Yeah i agree completely it was absolutely awesome to put a face on a lot of these guys and hearing some great insights, i only wish the show spent more time on Sisko lol he is my favorite.

That's pretty much the whole reason I want to see this so badly. I've never seen them interview authors for something like this and I'm very curious to see what they had to say.
 
unfortunately it was not even remotely possible for me to watch this. i lost all ability to watch american televison two years ago. if someone finds a streaming clip or something I'd appreciate a heads up. this sounds incredibly interesting.
 
The special was pretty interesting. I liked DM's take on Pine's Kirk: "A punk with potential."

Last time I checked on YouTube all they had was the advert for it. Not being in North America, it would be nice to watch this.
