Trek and the last hurrah

I saw this on trekmovie a while back and watched his lecture. It was great and a bit inspiring. Having a treatable form of cancer myself I'm pulling for the guy.

I hope if the film is entirely "in the can" before the guy dies, JJ is kind enough to let him see it.

With them thinking he has only six months to go, he isn't likely to live to see the actual release.

I'm pulling for both of you.

Here's to good health.

I've been off the board for three weeks now and not one thing has changed in this forum. Not one solitary thing.

1) Old rumors are being recycled. I'm glad to see Shatner still isn't in the movie.

2) Sam continues to being funny.

3) There isn't a single piece of new news outside of the film's May '09 release date.

Maybe this forum has entered time travel. If so, can I get the last three weeks back, please?

I come to reiterate my first time I said this was classy of mr abrams, or to say it for the first time if I haven't already.

All this time travel stuff confuses me. Is it now or then?

I agree. It'd be great if the guy was able to see himself up on the big screen at least once before he dies.

Hope you are on the road to recovery. My dad and grand-dad died from differing forms of cancer from one another. My dad died of Pancreatic Cancer, I believe the docs said. My grand-dad, not really sure. I was only one when he died.

I am dying slowly of natural causes. Can I be in the film?

LOL! Smartass! :guffaw:

Wow... when you put it in terms of 15 months, that sounds like forever from now. I'll be close to 22. Scary.
