Transportation aboard the Enterprise D

Yeah, official non canon tie in merch. They don't matter for the sake of this discussion, only on screen material is canon everything else is not, the novels are official (i.e. licensed) too, doesn't mean they're canonical.
My question (the original topic of this post) is strictly in query of a particular feature found in Ed Whitefire's floor plans. So for THIS discussion, it does matter

You also asked if anyone had other blueprints/diagrams taking it beyond the Whitefire plans from the start. And you participated in talking about the Enterprise A and its pylons, so you don't get to pretend now that the entire thread was about one specific feature on the D plans, the discussion had clearly moved beyond that when I made my post.

Well, for the Ent D being so big.. why doesn't have a stairwell?? it has "Jeffery's Tubes" that you can ladder your way up and down.. but say power goes down.. Take the stairs? Or.. have a null gravity tube to go up and down.. I mean.. 39 decks.. .. on a ladder.. >_<

At least a ladder has handholds if you go zero-gee? Stairs, not so much (I mean, I guess there could be a railing, but still...).

I asked if anyone had other blueprints that showed what the 0-g vertical transport was or looked like. Go read it CAREFULLY once more. And no I'm not an asshole so yes I will reply to another question someone posts here, as well. I say good day sir.

So I think for this Transporter you don't need gravitation. So I think therefore 0-G Transporter. Maybe the last escape possibility...

The big ship might well have stairwells. Even Sternbach's version of it shows curving ramps between certain decks. It's just that there's no real reason for us to see those in the show. Turbolifts are faster. When they are out, our heroes generally are limited by other plot contrivances as well, forcing them to take the vertical Jeffries route. It just doesn't make all that much sense to have a ramp or a stairwell leading directly to Main Bridge...

...Although apparently there is one leading to the Observation Lounge just next to it. After all, Ambassador Riva can depart that facility on his own and reach other destinations despite being unable to use verbal commands in the turbolift. (Sure, they do have buttons, too - but only in the later seasons, and on rare occasions at that. The odds of the mute Riva managing to summon a special button-type turbolift are somewhat low. And even the helpful computer panels on the walls of the corridors ultimatelyu required Riker to make a verbal query.)

No obvious railings in the corridors either, maybe if the corridor goes to zero gee the railings (or something) would automatically pop out of the walls and ceilings.
