Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen final trailer

This looks even better than the last trailer I saw. Now, I don't know many of the autobots by name (other than OP, BB and Megatron) but the CG looks awesome. And they are also trying to add a National Treasure type mystery. The movie is going to have to be 4 hours to do all that justice.

Is the DVD out yet?

This trailer has actually convinced me not to see the movie. I was hoping that Michael Bay would use more of the parts that worked in the first movie and cut out the annoying, useless stuff. Unfortunately, it looks like everything from the first movie will be present in the second, including Bay's excesses and stereotypes.

Weird how the sequel has all the identical elements of the first movie.

Weirder still how you think you get to dictate what's useless but the rest of the paying audience gets no say.

When did I say that I was dictating what anyone else's opinion should be, or that I was expecting anything different from Bay and Dreamworks? I'm merely expressing my personal reaction and intentions. I hope that those of you who are excited about it will enjoy the movie, but I would be foolish to waste my time and money on something that does not look appealing.

While the trailer hasn't' convinced me to not see the film it certainly hasn't convinced me to see it. It looks like a retread of the first film, with emphasis on the human characters and lame sitcom humor.

At least the action looks comprehensible. Someone must have bought Bay a steadycam.

the small red and green cars are Skids and Mudflap, 'The Twins'. they're the comic-relief characters.

It would be great if they were the only comic-relief characters, but somehow I much doubt that.

(The first movie's comic-relief character list included, but was by no means limited to, Sam's parents, Bobby Bolivia, Anthony Anderson, Anthony Anderson's fat cousin, Frenzy, Agent Simmons, the Indian call centre operator, the skeevy cop and the President of the United States. And all the Autobots when they were stooging around in Sam's garden.)
