'Transformers 3' Casting, Rumors, Pics till release

Looks like Spielberg was the one that had Megan Fox fired from Transformers.

Megan went one step too far in attacking her director!

At the time, comparing Transformers director Michael Bay to Adolf Hitler during an interview may have seemed to support Megan Fox‘s bad-girl image. But it wound up costing the sexy actress the gig that catapulted her to stardom!

Michael now says that while Megan’s comments didn’t especially upset him, they inspired immediate action from executive producer and film legend Steven Spielberg, the Daily Mail reports.

“You know the Hitler thing,” Michael said. “Steven said, ‘Fire her right now.’”

Megan, 25, was thus replaced in the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon by Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley!

Lesson of the day? Don't use Nazi insults while Spielberg is standing right behind you. :rommie:

^ She also didn't seem interested in rehearsals for the 3rd one. Her star has faded away pretty fast, no? Plus calling someone 'Hitler' in Hollywood? That's career ending right there.

I wish this would act as a lesson to every other 2bit beauty with an acting bug to be a star. You're replaceable, :snap: just like that.

That Sam Witwicky kid sure does have good luck with the ladies.
I guess he learned how to say "I Love you" to the ladies:lol:

I am curious if the destruction seen in this 3rd film will be just an conspiracy theory in the 4th film:shifty:(If they make one..)

Michael Bay forcing theaters to show TF3 in 3D. :wtf:

Just how pushy is Paramount with theater owners on Transformers 3? Well, The New York Times has this interesting detail today: that Michael Bay last week called the chief executives of major theater chains to implore them to show Transformers: Dark Of The Moon in a way that burns out projector bulbs more quickly but makes 3D look brighter and sharper. That's because there's been a continuing problem that "the darkness of 3D is starting to impact movie satisfaction," media analyst Rich Greenfield tells me. "This was a key problem with Pirates 3D, with both Green Lantern and Harry Potter starting off with darker imagery and then layering on 3D glasses that darken the images further."

Last week was also when Paramount told theaters they have to play the pic in 3D next Tuesday night for the early screenings to spread buzz or they can't play the film at all. I hear the company line has been “Michael Bay is insisting on the Digital presentation”. Or is this really all about numbers and Paramount's screwing Disney and Warner Bros on their 3D dates? Case in point. Paramount won’t even accept the 35mm Technicolor 3D release prints if theaters have the Digital in house. And the studio is telling theaters it's a four-week minimum in their Digital theater. This strategy succeeds in keeping Pixar's Cars 2 out of some digital runs, which will cut back the grosses while forcing Warner Bros' Harry Potter And The Deathly Hollows Part 2 out of 3D dates as well.

Read it more carefully: he's not forcing the theaters to show it in 3D, he requesting the theaters that are showing it in the 3D to do it right so the picture doesn't look like crap. Paramount is the one setting the 3D requirement for the preview screenings.

3D sucks full stop. get back to me when you can make holographic movies or i don't need to pay over £1 more and wear goofy eyewear.

ET ran their "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" special this weekend and went behind the scenes of the film's Chicago shoot as well as had interviews with the cast members. I still can't say that I'm excited for this film, but at least I'm willing to see it. The trailers look good. Shia said repeatedly that "everything is better" in this film compared to the other two. I probably won't see it until next weekend. I might watch it opening day Wed but I doubt it.
