'Transformers 3' Casting, Rumors, Pics till release

I don't think Clint has retired from acting, he's just been in a dominant directoral phase of his career. I mean Gran Tarino was just 2yrs ago. I'd bet if a part suited him and he liked it he'd make time for it.

vincent d'onofrio has played Welles (and has sort of an uncanny resemblance), maybe him? Then again Unicron was voice-only, and Orson's voice was manipulated electronically (I've heard rumors that they wanted to use his deep voice as normal, but he was so weak that they had to scrap most of his readings).

Hal Holbrook, James Earl Jones, Morgan Freeman

Or better yet, Billy West!

The character in the trailer does look like Alpha Trion though.

I wonder if Soundwave will have more to do this time than just sit around in orbit. (Although some of the movie tie-in comics have given him some added exposure).

Upon first review I thought Soundwave as a satellite wasn't a bad idea but it's not the most stealthy alternate mode. As a robot he'd need to have escape velocity just to get back into a position to take his alternate mode. All that effort is bound to be easy to track making his orbital position not very stealthy afterall. Some type of work around would be needed to make him viable in that form.

I've been thinking about this for a while now and have come to the conclusion that while I'm still not a hundred percent thrilled with this film BUT am excited about aspects of the movie. Shockwave is one of them. Carly is another :) I just hope this movie doesn't induce a splitting migraine headache like the second half of the last one did.

Yeah I thought they were the Wreckers too...and isn't the red Ferarri a new character made up for just this film?

And then they'll drive over two more people, if the events after the commercial continue to their apparent conclusion.
