No, it just didn't look all that interesting. Rather it looked like a middle of the range Torchwood episode stretched out.

No airdate yet, Digital Spy says March, but I believe RTD said to expect May or June. I guess there's either more effects than they thought, or they're finding it hard to find 5 nights in a row in the BBC One schedule.

BBC do this kinda thing (semi)regularly. They did it was 10 Days to War, 5 days and a couple of other things, they often have 2 or 3 part dramas that run consecutive days.
It's probably because it's 1 long story, rather than episodic with an arc.

Meh, that felt a bit underwhelming. Of course I'll watch (hell, I watched season two despite season one being mostly abyssal and I was awarded for my patience) so hopefully it's better than that trailer.

I had been watching on BBC America via DirecTv in SD, but was really happy when HDNet was airing them in HD.
