Trailer for Age of the Dragons with Danny Glover

What do you think of this trailer for the new Danny Glover fantasy adventure, Age of the Dragons? I think it looks cool. Obviously low-budget, but cool.

I like the idea to retell the Moby Dick story using a dragon instead of a whale. I've never been blown away by Glover's acting chops, though, so I'm not sure how well he could carry the movie. Low budget isn't necessarily an issue -- the film looked good from a visual standpoint (the cinematography, etc.). But the tone of the story seems a bit ... off, to me.

I don't like the way Glover's started pronouncing 'sh' instead of s, like Sean Connery. I don't know if it's an old man thing, but it was really noticeable in The Shooter.

Well, it was really noticeable with Nimoy in the most recent flick, so I think I'm betting on old men going Scottish, or dentures. Whatever you prefer.

Well, I was looking forward to this, but it is now getting torn to shreds by critics. Still, the premise is weird enough that I am still curious. I might wait for it to show up on the SyFy Channel instead of spending money on it, though.
