The article is barely more than speculation. CBS's presentation of the schedule is for the broadcast network, not sure how that relates to CBSAA original series. All 2 of them.

Allegedly only 3 episodes are done so far, and that probably doesn't include FX, so probably not.

All to be expected, and in no way an impediment to announcing a premiere date and beginning promotion.

It could be announced, but the fall lineup is likely for the network not All-Access.

Exactly. Also, to point out that which should be obvious, optical effects and CGI comes in throughout the post-production process - it's not all dropped off in a bundle the week before a show premieres. So at this point it's extremely likely that there are enough final or late-stage effects on hand to put together a very effective trailer.

Considering how much SFX the pilot itself will probably have, shots are certainly done. There's more then enought footage that is more than good enough for a 60 second trailer

I expect nothing, and will continue to do so until informed otherwise by other sites than this.

More to that point, I heard an interview with Kevin Feige from the MCU who said they figure out what they want the trailer to be, figure out when they want to release it, and then have the post production houses prioritize those shots so they can have the trailer ready to go. I can't imagine this kind of TV would work that much differently.

I am hoping we see a trailer today. They did release their first picture today. So I am going to assume we will see a trailer. It would be crazy for CBS not to promote Discovery at their Upfront. CBS plans to air the pilot this fall so they are going to want to leverage any oportunity to promote CBS and CBS All Access.
