Except that most of us aren't germans

Caucasians make up roughly 74% of all Americans. 2 out of every 3 of those Caucasian people in America would have to be German for most of us to be German. Which, no, there aren't that many.

So, the fact that we have not been part of the British Empire for more than 200 years, I would say that we do not have much of a reason to have that here. It's a part of British history, let it stay with you guys.

As for your reasoning that most of us are German so we shouldn't get it... Um... we aren't mostly German. In fact, according to the US Census Bureau, Germans only account for 16.8% of the United States population.
