Tracks of the Lion

Not read any of Arc of the Wolf so I've no clue about the background but it doesn't matter - loved the story :)

LMAO! You're far too kind, then. ;) I can't imagine it makes a ton of sense without knowing who Corry is. But thank you so much for the kind comment!

Forgot to say before - this made me laugh out loud:

"I'll be all right," Corry said, and it was automatic, and then he realized just how much he sounded like Scotty right then, and for reasons he couldn't even begin to guess, that made him both flinch and smile.

There was a long pause, and then he understood that the cold he felt was because someone had a cool compress on his head. And T'Shae said, "Given the current circumstances, I do not believe that statement has any basis in fact."

Wonderful Vulcan!

Thank you! T'Shae was a wonderful little surprise in this story, and I'm glad she appeared out of the proverbial ether.

VERY nice! I have to say...it's rare that I end up really liking a Vulcan character that's not one of the ones without logic--but I really liked T'Shae. Even though she came off harder than a human might, I could really sense her compassion right from the top...I don't know why, exactly, but she didn't seem as patronizing as someone like T'Pol, even though she was rightly pointing out that Corry's pride and stubbornness put him in over his head.

And of course Corry and Scott were wonderful as well! Excellent work as always. :)

Thank you! Vulcans are always hard for me to write, but I'm thoroughly glad this one came across as well as she did. Logical, but kind, if that makes sense.

I liked the story and the Vulcan-I'd like to see more of her. You did a great job, as always.

::dry grin:: If it was 'as always', I would not be fighting so hard with the next big story in the Arc of the Wolf. But thank you. I don't know if T'Shae will ever come into things again, but if anyone else wants to 'borrow' her, by all means. She's too good a character to just leave collect dust.
