The concabe mirror thing is no great revelation. Several, many, years ago I had a toy that did the same thing. It was a concave, plastic, mirrored bowl with a lid with a hole in it. Anything you placed at the bottom of the bowl would be projected, in 3D, on the top of that hole. Pretty neat. I expected them at the time to adapt this with computer images for a type of holography. The tactile ultrasound is a cool idea.
