TOS viewing frequency...

No matter how much you like/love something one can only indulge so much paticularly after you're familliar with somethiing.

So how often do you watch TOS?

And just for fun I'm splitting this pole by age.

I hate setting up these polls. Wheneever I set the start time it never works right. Now we have to wait for two hours.

Anyway, I'm over 30 (48 to be exact) and I still watch TOS once in awhile although not regularly for a long time. I still love the show, but I'm very familiar with it and I have enough other things going on.

Ah, an age specific "rail splitter". ;)

I'm with you, Warped. I watch it occasionally, and I'll be 48 also (in two days).

^^ I actually considered splitting the age at 35 or even 40, but opted to go with the conventional 30 year split.

Reminds me of that classic 1960s putdown when Parmen's wife asked Spock how old he thought she was - and he very sacastically replied "35". :)

Never trust anyone over 30, Herbert!!!!

36 and I no longer watch TOS at all, the only exceptions being when I spin a DVD to quote exact dialogue (or make screencaps) for TrekBBS.com threads.

56, and I rarely watch it. I've seen all the episodes to many times. Hell, I can actually talk along with the actors in some episodes.

Someday I plan to watch it again though. I've got all three years on DVD, and watched all of them several years ago and haven't seen any since. Well, except for one of those remastered episodes which I didn't really care for. And I won't watch any of those again.

I've noticed that all the replies have been from those who are conspicuously over 30.. :)
I've been watching TOS a lot more now that TOS-R is on every week. It's made me look forward to watching all over again, just to see what they did differently and how it looks.

Hey Warp 9 I'm one year behind you. and in the same boat though I've been catching up on the animated series since I didn't see them all first time around. :)

I took the month of June off as far as things Trek were concerned, but have resumed my average of about two episodes per week.

I'm 33 and have watched every TOS ep many many times. My wife and I were going through the DVDs in stardate order, but we've been stuck on Mark of Gideon for months now... ^^;;

I used to be far more into TOS. In the late 90s, we were playing Star Fleet Battles all the time. Lately, it's been hard to find people who remember the old show.

I'm 30 and still watch it every so often. I own Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, but I tend to just fast forward through remastered episodes on my DVR once a week.

I miss those days when I was 13 and couldn't get enough of TOS. Life was so much simpler then. Just grew up, I guess.

:(

I'm 19 and watch it weekly (except for when I forget to set the tape, or the local station suddenly changes what time they air it. Bastards.)

Over 30 here () and I've been watching TOS-R weekly since it began. It's been kind of nice to have it to look forward to each week. Before that my viewing pattern was a lot more irregular.

In my mid 40's watch TOS-R every week when it comes on.

* Record it as well, even the horrid ads too *

I'm 38 and the only reason I still watch regularly is to see the remastered episodes when they air. I do own the DVDs, but haven't watched them since I bought them a couple of years ago. Once the remastered episodes are completed, I'll probably watch infrequently.

You may split your pole any way you like, (Carl?) but this poll does not contain an option which accurately reflects my answer.
