I did not know that about the Enterprise' colour ... I always thought it was supposed to be slate grey, actually.

That's right. I see it as a very light gray that looks almost white when the lighting is good.

I can't believe Jeffries thought it should be blue when he knew they had to shoot the model in front of a blue screen.

That is a film stock issue that varies from season to season. I have an interview with Matt Jeffries on this, but can't find it.

I remember that interview. It was the same one where Jefferies was complaining the Enterprise's color never looked right on TV. It was supposed to be the same medium blue with pink windows like the cover of TMOST. :techman:

I should have put ;) after my post instead of :techman:. I was cracking wise with the medium blue with pink windows from TMOST thing. The studio model was pale gray with a hint of green, according to Richard Datin.

It is Profile Flatware by studio nova/mikasa

First, welcome to the board.

Second, please take some time to review the rules of posting here, pinned at the top of this forum. Specifically, the one about resurrecting old threads.

This one has been dead nearly 10 years. Let's let it rest in peace.

Thanks!
