TOS Shuttlecraft Arrives, Placed Next to Enterprise Space Shuttle

So have they damaged the Galileo yet?
The Enterprise has been damaged twice. Once during it's move. And again during Tropical Storm Sandy.
They should have gotten the shuttle mock-up instead of the Johnson Space Center in Houston.

I have no personal knowledge of his passing, and would be only too happy to be wrong. I based my assumption on the use of the past tense to describe him in articles like the following:

Re-reading, I can see how the past tense could have been used merely because the collaborations were in the past.
