It did not do a lot for the ladies either. The main reason that "Kirk's" disguise was spotted was that he was behaving like an "hysterical woman" which I think was a bit insulting. Surely a woman who had been through the Academy would have had just a little more moral fibre even if she was suffering from some kind of neurosis.

I think the concensus around here is that Janice Lester was not representative of the average woman of her time, but was basically bugfuck crazy.

Was she booted? I must have missed that one. I presumed that she completed her training but was p.......d off because she could not become a captain.
