TOS-R "The Ultimate Computer" question for Mike Okuda

I know he occasionally lurks here, or someone else might know the answer I'm looking for.

In the Remastered "The Ultimate Computer", did they use the "battle damaged" Constellation mesh from "The Doomsday Machine" for the damaged Excalibur, or did they do a new "damaged starship" mesh?

From what I read at the time, it's a modified/new mesh, basically "damaged" from the Excalibur's existing mesh. (I don't know if they took parts from the Constellation to muck it up a bit, but it's not just the Constellation with a different registry.)
