TOS-R "The Cloud Minders" editing fix?

I think we have confirmed that for some reason, the Bluray remastered does not have this editing fix, that the broadcast remastered does. Strange but true. Let us know if you find out otherwise.

For what it's worth, my non-BluRay remastered version (the regular definition DVD but with updated VFX) does not have a corrected version of the edit. The camera is focused on Kirk and Spock as a two-shot when the "what's the meaning of this attack" line is delivered--with Kirk not moving his lips.

For that scene, there's only one version on the BD. It's all remastered. I finally put the disc back in tonight and confirmed that the flaw is still there (but I never noticed it before this thread - maybe I always looked at Spock during that shot!).

There are only two different branches on the BD where effects have been changed, and that shot is not one of them.

Edit: I just realized you specified the broadcast remastered version. Sorry; I didn't see it when it was broadcast.

Doug
