Does anyone know why X-Box live has stopped posting new HD episodesof the Original Series? It's been a few weeks, at least.

Welcome to the board Kryan1701. I hope you enjoy your time here. :)

I don't have the answer to your question, but you've certainly come to the right place to get the answer.

CBS/Paramount wasn't doing the remastering of the episodes by seasons.

They've been doing it in random order.

My guess is that the episodes released for download are all there are of season one, and C/P doesn't want to release them out of season order.

Personally, I'm wondering how in the world they're going to manage to get season one out on high def DVD by the date they announced.

Since the episodes weren't being done in any order, I'm sure the remastering team LOVED hearing they had to now have season one ready by that date.

It may just be a guess, but it sounds like a logical reason to me.

Actually, X-Box just stopped uploading remastered episodes from any of the three seasons. What they did in the past was offer the original verions of each episode and then offer an HD remastered option as the new shows broadcast. Thus, there are a number of remastered first season episodes that have aired but have not found their way into the system. It's frustrating because X-Box offers the full cut of the episode--not the syndication cut that's being broadcast.
