TOS-R in iTunes

May be flogging a dead horse but does anyone know when they are going to release any more TOS-R episodes for iTunes? Or never now that the HD-DVD's are announced.

They doubtless will. The only trouble is that iTunes puts episodes up by season, while TOS-R is happening totally out of order. So a completed episode of TOS-R only appears on iTunes if it's part of the first season. Eventually, they'll add the other two seasons, and those TOS-R episodes as well.

Can anyone confirm that the version of "Where No Man Has Gone Before" (under iTunes' listing for TOS Remastered) really is the remastered version? Somebody told me that it's the original, un-remastered one.

i bought that episode several months ago and it was the remastered version. something may have happened to it in the meantime, but the video in the iTunes preview of the episode seems to match mine.

middyseafort, do you mean the iTunes version *is* the remastered one? I was confused as to what your "Yes" was referring to.

The iTunes preview doesn't have any effects, so I can't tell by looking at it whether it's the remastered version or not.

I do see that iTunes has separate listings for the original TOS and the remastered version. It wasn't always like that, was it?

(Now if only they would do two things: 1) Complete the shows they already have up on iTunes - none of this "season 1 only" stuff - and 2) Add TNG. )
