TOS only on Netflix instant this July?

Whofan

Fleet Captain
Slightly concerned-It was said that 'all generations' of Star Trek were coming to Netflix instant early in July (Although Deep space nine has been delayed until October). However, Netflix's website only lists TOS season one, and some of the films, as coming to streaming soon-basically, what's been available on the site in the past.

Could it be another delay? Remember these were originally going to be in April, but apparentally they needed more time....

They only have so much room to advertise what's coming, I'm assuming. They could have just gone with TOS Season 1 because it's the very first season of Trek ever.

I think that if they were going to delay any of the series at this point, we would have heard about it by now.

We have confirmation. TOS is still listed as coming soon but now so is Voyager. TNG and Enterprise are now listed as coming 7/1/2011

I hope so. I was on Instantwatcher.com and the only upcoming they had between now and September 1st was Star Trek TOS Season 1.

ENT TNG and VOY now all say they are being released tomorrow. TOS is already confirmed so I don't think we have anything to worry about.

This could be my excuse to finally watch all of ENT and give VOY another shot. I just have to wait until I'm somewhere that actually allows me to enjoy Instant Watch.

I, for one, welcome our Netflix overlords. Netflix finally adding Trek has put the cherry on top of my subscription. :D Maybe if the shows are popular enough, do you think CBS will notice that there is still an active interest in Trek on television?

Gotta say, though, TNG looks like absolute crap on Watch Instant. Are the DVD's really that bad looking? If so, then TNG-R can't come along fast enough...

Yes. The video is not far above VHS quality. This was due to the filming methods they used at the time, for the visual effects. The DVDs have the same general look.

Half of The Menagerie is missing, color me annoyed. I guess I can watch the second half on Startrek.com

Don't forget, Netfilx adjusts the video quality based on your internet connection. So, if you're downloading or running stuff in the background, the picture won't look as sharp.

This. TNG looks decent on my PS3, but I have it hard-wired to my router to get the best quality possible.
