TOS novel recommendations?

Spock's World remains my favorite Star Trek novel of all time. The story of Vulcan's entire history is amazing, especially the chapter on Surak (even if parts of it were seemingly contradicted by ENT).

Hmm...didn't Judy, Gar, and Manny say something about using Spock's World for reference when writing the 4th-season Vulcan eps?

I never heard that, but even if they did, they definitely contradicted Spock's World's depiction of a violent death resulting from being kidnapped by a terrorist organization (and lack of a nuclear conflict) with their notion of Surak as having died of radiation poisoning.

No...but I may have gotten the titles mixed up.

As I recall, Manny noted that they borrowed locale names such as "Vulcan's Forge" from the books.
