I've been calling her Gail this whole time.
The criticisms I have about it is all the mutual backslapping at the beginning and the way it takes pains to mention how awesome Una is/knows she is.
I did not see
betrayal coming. She was always just there in the background. I thought she would die on some away team.

I think links are okay if it's obviously a link to fanfic, since there's a reasonable expectation (legally speaking) that the writers aren't following the links? No different than them posting on a board with a fanfiction forum in the first place, I'd think; there's a reasonable expectation that they aren't following the link into that subforum too. It's posting the fanfic itself that's off limits, since then it's harder to justify them claiming not to have seen it if a legal issue ever popped up, even if they legitimately didn't. I mean, I can't remember who it is, but I know there's some regular poster in this subforum with a link to their DS9 Season 8+ fanfic series in their sig, and I don't think that's ever caused trouble.

I posted it on fanfiction and in the fanfic board here. It's just unusual because it's based on a book, not a show or movie.
I thought those who had read the book would want to read my fic, especially as those who had not read the book wouldn't get it.

Human raised by Romulans; her family was captured during the Romulan War along with other humans, and they were essentially indoctrinated to serve as sleeper agents, so far as I remember. That line was probably just an oversight.

Just picked up Legacies: Captain to Captain. It's great so far with lots of action. "Follow that ship, Mr. Sulu!!" 
I've been calling her Morgan Leigh Chapel Hudec Eureka "Una" Robbins-Lefler Primus this whole time.
That'll look really messy on her CV...
