Blurb:
An epic new trilogy begins—a tie-in for the milestone fiftieth anniversary of Star Trek: The Original Series—that stretches from the earliest voyages of the Starship Enterprise to Captain Kirk’s historic five-year-mission…and from one universe to another!

Hidden aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise is a secret that has been passed from captain to captain, from Robert April to Christopher Pike to James T. Kirk. Now the return of the enigmatic woman once known as Number One has brought that secret to light, and Kirk and his crew must risk everything to finish a mission that began with April so many years ago…

Nearly two decades earlier, April and his crew first visited the planet Usilde, where they found both tragedy and a thorny moral dilemma. Today, the legacy of that fateful occasion will compel Kirk to embark on a risky voyage back to that forbidden world—which is now deep in territory claimed by the Klingon Empire!

Since this one is showing up in the wild now, I thought I'd go ahead and set up a review thread. Any issues with the format, please let me know!

My local bookstores have mostly all had copies out on the shelf for the past week-and-a-half or thereabouts.

My wife is on her way home from the zoo with the kids, and she stopped by Barnes and Noble on her way home. She grabbed a copy for me! I can't wait to start diving in on this trilogy tonight!

I can't wait for my copy of this book to come in the mail so I can finally read Captain to Captain .I've been looking forward to reading this miniseries for months now!:D:D

Unexpectedly found a copy at Barnes and Noble this afternoon. Plan to start it as soon as I finish 'A Pocket Full of Lies'.

I'm about halfway through the book, Mr cox. Story is great but unfortunately your prose has been littered with typos. Such as miss spelled words and copied words. For instance page 135 "please speak to me to me in Usildar". The page before the word alarm was spelled alarum.

^ I wasn't aware Shakespeare wrote this novel...

Don't be silly. Everyone knows Christopher Marlowe really wrote it.

Can't explain any typos. I swear to God that the ms. was thoroughly copyedited, and that I later went through the uncorrected page proofs line-by-line. By my count, the book went past at least six pairs of eyes before going to press . . ..
