With respect, yes. I have.
If you have, I have not seen it. But then, I don't read every post on the board. This forum, for example, I generally skip entirely unless there's a subject on the index that jumps out at me. Then I'll come into the forum and see what interests me.
That still though does not pertain to my previous assessment. Fan films are notoriously difficult to launch, let alone complete. They require near-Herculean effort and dedication to see through, and often depend on the good-will of fellow fans, strangers, and sometimes professionals to produce.
You know this.
No denying it. They are notoriously difficult to produce. Sometimes they will result in something that's absolutely brilliant. Other times, it's fodder for youtube folks to point and laugh.
You know this because most of the regulars in this forum have reminded you over and over again, over the years, each time you complain because Of Gods And Man isn't available on DVD in wide release, or because Starship Exeter is announcing yet another delay.
Um, what? I've never complained about a lack of dvd for Of Gods, and I don't recall hearing about Starship Exeter before this post. I did do an "advanced search" of this forum, and there are no posts by me with "exeter" in them, nor is there a single one with "dvd" prior to this post. You may have me confused with someone else. Or you may be reaching for some reason to pile more hate upon me. I'm still unclear why you seem to enjoy doing so.
Even then, complaining wouldn't be so bad, if it came from a place of constructive criticism, or perhaps genuine disappointment. But it always gets nasty and I am asking why?
Oh, it never starts out as nasty. I have a tendency to call out something when I see that it may be ... exaggerated or when something that's being said feels off. This thread is one of them.
Again: there was no call for your negative tone in the beginning of this thread. I apologize for my earlier, nasty (and warned for) remark. It was uncouth. However I would like to know why whenever you show up around here (this forum) it is to complain bitterly?
I came to this thread because I saw a subject line that said "TOS Actor Signs On..." Since actors such as George and Walter have done Phase II, I was curious which actor it was. You will note in my initial post, I said:
from me -
He was a kid who did one episode as a bit part. I'm not sure calling him a "TOS Actor" is even appropriate. But then, it IS the one and only role he's ever been credited with.
I'm not sure how to take the "much lauded" comment, as the only information a google search has found on him was from that bit part back in the 60s.
In what way is this negative? It is questioning, absolutely, but is not negative. I received a reply that was not an answer, simply posting a tag line twice. I questioned this, again. You took that as an oppotunity to troll, just as you've taken many attempts to troll me over the past year or two.
These productions are free to view. The most work we as viewers have to do is to wait for a production to be released and to click "play" on our media player of choice. That's it. There's no need for such hostility.
You brought the hostility. I questioned it. Just as I questioned the logic in advertising "TOS Actor" when it was, at best, "TOS Guest Actor". Words mean things, and if one does not say what one means, one can never mean what one says.
You'll not also, once reason and logic are introduced to the thread, he's nowhere to be found, let alone addressing said issues brought to the forefront.
I hadn't seen it until now. Once I did, I replied.
