Torchwood: Miracle Day premiere date

Just thought I'd give this thread a bump since while watching Space I saw a commercial for Miracle Day.

Well, to be more accurate, it was a commercial for Space's summer programming, and they mentioned Miracle Day, with shots of Jack. No official airdates, and really nothing new to report, but it's something I thought I'd share for my fellow Canadians. Proof that we are going to watch Miracle Day this summer.

^ Sweet! Looking forward to the new series, though not sure what the hold up is with coming up with an airdate.

this isnt exactly Torchwood: Mircale Day, but I would like you guys opinon on something.

What is the correct thing to do when your walking down the street, listening to some tunes, and a group of girls walk by, one of them is wearing a t-shirt saying "Have you seen a blow fish driving a sports car?"

Should you back track (as I had walked by her, only seeing her at the last minute) and make say something quotable from Torchwood? How should you idenify yourself as a Torchwood fan to a stranger in that sitituion?

Obviously if this was Star Trek, I would make the Vulcan Salute, but this was Torchwood.

ok that came off as more of a "How do you speak to girls" question than I intended, it just bugged me for the rest of the day.

Pretty sure that unlike Captain Jack I cant get away with kissing random girls in the street.

Hmm...Cap'n Jack quotes that won't get you slapped. A reference to Volcano Day?

Looks like it's been fast tracked to Australia for he 9th July, I can't believe another foreign market would get it before it's home market so I say it'll air in the UK sometime between the 4th & 8th July.

Actually I think you should just smile to yourself, think 'cool T-Shirt' and walk on by. Actually speaking to strangers of the opposite sex in the street randomly is something precious few people can really do effectively . It'd be different if she was behind the counter in a shop or sat at a bar or something.

Captain Jack is more likely to kiss random guys in the street anyway.
I dont know about that, isnt Jack an equal oppurnites offender?

As for scheulding of Mircale Day, this is what eth BBC gets when it alllows another channel to fund its programming for it.

I'm sure the BBC has always planned to broadcast it at pretty much the same time as the US - they just don't release schedules until a few weeks in advance as is normal for British television.

^Most of the time yes, do you want me to predict when DW S7 will start next year, I'm thinking Easter Saturday.

If it's airing on BBC1 @ 21:00 I'd expect to see it either Thursday or Friday, night. Don't think it'll air on Wednesday at the 21:00 slot isn't free.

Dammit I was just coming in to post that!

From the UKTV email:
TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY
Australian First
Saturdays at 8:30pm, from July 9

One day, nobody dies. All across the world, nobody dies. And then the next day, and the next, and the next, people keep ageing - they get hurt and sick - but they never die. It's a race against time as C.I.A. agent Rex Matheson investigates a global conspiracy.

If if is between 4th & 8th, we probaly wont have any offical idea of this until nex Thursday until BBC Press website updates, and it WILL be "unplaced".
