yes I think this trailer makes it pretty clear its much more of a US show, the only question is, will that be a good thing or not?
If that's the same girl, she looks less like she's wearing a wig than in that clip.

Torchwood outgrew Cardiff with Children of Earth.
I'd even go further. I'd argue that Torchwood is one of the rare spin-off series that has outgrown its parent.
^ Agreed. I still trust in Russell and Julie to produce the best show they can. I don't care if looks "Americanized" as long as it is entertaining.
I guess you're right. It's just that with so much sci-fi stuff set in the US, it was nice to have something set in my neck of the woods.

No I'm just counting Rhys as 1/2 since he was just a supporting character until later. I admit that when I wrote that I read it as "original main characters" and not "original cast"

Jesus is that bad! Looks like a parody of a stupid action show. I made it about 1/3 of the way through before losing interest (where the room explodes and they land in the pool - Overused Cliche #3243).
Looks like I won't be bothering to spring for Starz anytime soon.
